Ceramic Cups inspired by artichokes.
A lesson in slip-casting (using porcelain), mold making, and glazing. More should be up soon! I’m in the middle of creating a set and a tray for these.

Third Illustrator rendering: The Microsoft Arc Mouse
I really focused on the different material breakups and surfaces and used a swatch pattern for the first time. I have to say, Illustrator renderings can be pretty sexy if you get good at them fast!

Three goals for the summer

1. Get an internship

2. Learn Coding

3. Get licensed to ride a motorcycle

My first Illustrator rendering! c: made with the pen tool and basic gradients. If you can’t tell, it’s a steel thermal mug :B

portfolio

Heyo, I totally forgot—I finally put up my portfolio! Check it out on behance.

Send me some love and some critique! All feedback is helpful; it’s my first time putting my work online and it will no doubt go through many changes within the next few days/weeks/months!

I’m currently looking for an internship for the summer months (May-August) and maybe the fall or winter semesters for the 2012/2013 school year

zero and the circle

I think the symbol for zero fascinates me so much because it is also a full circle, something that generally symbolizes one-ness and whole-ness. It’s as if we needed a symbol for everything to symbolize nothing.
